Foreman (Job & Person Specification):

This is an opportunity for someone to develop his or her career within a team environment of 18 staff. Mobility Engineering is a well-established (1974) conveyor manufacturing company with an expanding workload. This position would suit a foreman seeking to expand their experience, in a supportive environment.

Job Specification

• Hands-on engineering role.
• Organisation of production schedules and job assignments for a team of 10 shop floor personnel.
• Working within the contract specification, time and cost allowances.
• Communicating between the shop floor and drawing office, ensuring the correct materials are used and documented for stock control purposes.
• Aspects of quality control (prior to despatch).
  

Person Specification

• A solid engineering background with suitable qualifications, such as HND, OND in mechanical and production engineering.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Self Motivated.
• Approachable & Flexible.
• Current UK driving licence.
  

Hourly Rate: £ 11.00 Per Hour (40 Hour Week – 08:00 To 17:00)
