	Mobility Engineering (Cheshire) Ltd PLASTIC SLAT CONVEYORS Plastic slat conveyors are predominantly used, and are ideal in such industries as food and pharmaceuticals, where rapid speed and accuracy is of the utmost importance, plus they also have the ability to be washed down for hygiene purposes. Plastic/Acetal Slat Conveyors are used more for the lighter products, and usually in the food/pharmaceutical industries, where narrow products, such as plastic tubs, yoghurt and ice cream pots, etc, are conveyed from various filling machines, through barcode readers and either straight to packing areas or straight into freezers, cool rooms or storage areas. The design allows for very fast throughputs in various configurations, utilising short bend radii, and also allows for the accumulation of product.
