Who are Mobility Engineering
Mobility Engineering have been producing conveyors and conveyor systems since 1974. We design, develop, manufacture, install and commission conveyors and material handling systems from our purpose built factory.
Our talented team of engineers, designers and project managers deliver bespoke solutions to suit a variety of customers from a wide range of industries. Our full drawing/design office produces full working drawings, prior to any product/conveyor being manufactured, which offers the versatility of being able to offer more bespoke designs and layouts. Coupled with this, is our in-house machining shop and control design engineers, who are able to offer the control cabinet and full logic/software control system.
Generally (or more simplistically) conveyors and conveyor systems can be broken down into two distinct divisions - powered and non-powered. Non-powered conveyors are gravity conveyors, therefore, relying on gravity to get from A to B (either horizontally, by human resources pushing, or via a decline, so the product moves under its own weight).
Being non-powered means you simply cannot control the movement/flow. Powered conveyors, on the other hand, are much more reliable and versatile with regards control and process flow. Being powered, you are in control of how and how fast the product goes from A to B, plus it can have the added benefit of accumulation.
